Police chief meets foreign ambassadors in Tehran

TEHRAN – Iran’s police chief, Hossein Ashtari, held a meeting on Wednesday with foreign ambassadors to Iran.

Ashtari praised the security situation in Iran, stressing that no terrorist group dares venture into Iran, Nasim reported.

He told diplomats that this year Brazil used the expertise of the Iranian police to secure the Olympic Games.

Ashtari also called on the ambassadors to establish links between the Iranian police and the police in their country of origin.
